Man Arrested In Connection With Joanne Lee Murder Investigation
A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Joanne Lee.
Ms Lee's body was discovered inside a wardrobe wrapped in a sleeping bag at the flat of her estranged husband, Keith Lee, on Thursday 16 February, 2018.
It is believed that she had been dead for up to 48 hours before her body was discovered.
According to reports the arrested man is believed to be Ms Lee estranged husband Keith.
Mr Lee had been in hospital after he had jumped from the third-floor window of the Ranelagh flat when garda called to the address. Mr Lee had reported Joanne as missing two days earlier and investigating garda called to the flat when her car was discovered parked outside. As gardaí entered the flat, Mr Lee jumped from a third-floor window.
He was detained by garda after he was discharged from hospital and is being held at Irishtown Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended.
A post-mortem examination found that Ms Lee had been strangled before being wrapped in a sleeping bag and put into a wardrobe.

15-Year-Old Arrested In Lorcan O'Reilly Murder Investigation
Gardaí investigating the murder of Lorcan O'Reilly in Dublin last year have arrested a 15-year-old male. Mr O'Reilly died after he was stabbed in the early hours of 01 November. It is believed that Mr O'Reilly was attempting to break up a fight at the Oliver Bond flat complex in Dublin's south inner city when he was fatally injured.

Man Killed Following Stabbing Attack In Dublin
A 21-year-old man has died after a stabbing attack in Dublin. The incident happened at the Oliver Bon flat complex shortly before 2.45am on Sunday. The victim received "serious stab wounds" during the attack. He was taken to St James' Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. A post mortem is expected to take place.

Firearms Recovered In Garda Searches
A number of firearms have been seized by gardaí during weekend searches. A number of searches were carried out at the Marrowbone Lane Flat Complex in Dublin 8, by gardaí investigating serious crime and drug activity. Three rifles, six loaded magazines, one revolver and 200-300 rounds of ammunition were all recovered in the planned operation.

Over €240,000 In Unspent Allowances Returned To Government
New figures have revealed that TDs and senators returned more than €240,000 in unspent allowances to the State's coffers last year. The new figures come after revamped expenses rules, within which Oireachtas members can opt to claim either a lower, unvouched flat payment or a higher sum that must be backed up with receipts.
