Up To 150 New Jobs Announced In Dublin

Up to 150 new jobs are to be created in Dublin by IT security firm Citrix.

The company has announced a major expansion of its offices at East Point Business Park.

In addition, upgrades will be carried out to provide a modern work environment which encourages open collaboration and social interaction.

Once finished, the expanded office will provide workspaces for over 400 employees and will host the EMEA Inside Sales and Tech Support functions and other support roles.

Minister for Jobs Enterprise and Innovation, Mary Mitchell O'Connor said: "We already have a strong footprint of ICT companies in the Dublin area and we always encourage these companies to expand and diversify. That is exactly what Citrix have decided to do, with the creation of an additional 150 valuable, high skilled jobs, which is a great vote of confidence in what we have to offer. I am confident that Ireland has the IT skills available to facilitate this exciting expansion."

300 New Jobs Announced In South Dublin
Three hundred new jobs are to be created in south Dublin by Sage, Europe's second largest technology firm. Welcoming the news, Fine Gael TD for Dublin Rathdown, Olivia Mitchell, said: "By choosing to locate in Sandyford, Sage, Europe's second largest technology company, will join some of the premier tech companies.

Galway Firm To Create 100 New Jobs
A shed manufacturing company is to create 100 new jobs in Tuam, Co Galway. Steeltech Sheds is to relocate its business from Headford Road in Galway to the former Coca-Cola factory in Tuam and will recruit new staff between now and 2017. The company currently employs 100 staff at bases in Cork, Dublin, Carlow and Athlone.

15 Jobs Created In Axway Dublin Expansion
15 jobs are expected to be created through the expansion of an R&D Centre of Excellence established in Dublin by data solutions company Axway. The move sees the company join a list of other IT and tech firms such as Amazon, Facebook, Google and Linkedin, which have all recently expanded operations in the capital.
