Over 50 New Jobs To Be Created In Co Mayo

Fifty five new jobs are to be created as part of a major expansion by Portwest in Westport, Co Mayo.

The company, which makes protective and work clothing, has said it expects its turnover to increase from €125m to €250m by 2020.

According to reports the company is set to double the size of it headquarters, increasing its staff number from 75 to 130.

The new jobs will be within design, sales, marketing and human resources.
