Teenager Charged In Connection With Dublin Assault

A teenager has been charged in connection with a serious assault in Dublin.

The incident occurred between 1:01am and 1:10am in Dublin 2 on Monday, 02 May, gardaí have said.

An altercation occurred between a 21-year-old man and a 16-year-old male at the junction of Dame Lane and Trinity Street.

The man received serious injuries to his face and was taken to St James's Hospital for treatment.

Investigating Gardaí in Pearse Street arrested the 16-year-old suspect on Thursday morning. He appeared before The Children Court, Smithfield on Friday.

Enquiries are continuing.

Man Charged Over Serious Assault
A man in his 20s is expected to appear in court, charged in connection with a serious assault that happened at Dorset Street, Dublin. On Sunday morning, at around 1.45am, Gardaí were called to the scene at an apartment at Kelly's Row. A man, aged in his 30s, was suffered serious injuries in the attack and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Missing 25-Year-Old Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A 25-year-old man who was missing from Harcourt Street in Dublin has been found safe and well, Gardaí have reported. Simon Quinn was reported missing after last being seen at around 2.30am on Monday, 30 July. However, Mr Quinn has now been found and Gardaí said they wish to thank the media and public for their assistance.

Gardaí Investigate Serious Assault And Burglary In Dublin
Gardaí are investigating a burglary in Rialto in Dublin that left a 69-year-old man with a serious head injury. According to garda, emergency services found the elderly man lying on the ground at around 1.30am on Thursday morning. He is being treated at St James's Hospital where his condition is described as serious but not life-threatening.

Woman And Child Hit By Car While Walking On Dublin Street
A woman has been killed after being hit by a car as she pushed a pram along a Dublin street. Gardaí have reported that the woman in her 30s was killed and a child injured when they were hit by a car on the main Dublin Road into Balbriggan. The child is being treated at Temple Street Children's Hospital.
