Man Arrested Over Galway Cannabis Seizure
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the seizure of herbal cannabis in Galway.
As part of an intelligence led joint operation involving Revenue's Customs Service, the Garda's Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, and the Galway Drugs Unit, a house in the Galway area was searched yesterday, 30 March.
Approximately 800 grams of herbal cannabis valued at around €12,000 was seized by Customs.
The man was arrested by Gardaí under S.15 of the Misuse of Drugs Acts (as amended) and is detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Mill St Garda Station, Galway.
Investigations are continuing.

Two Remanded Over Donegal Drugs Seizure
A father and son from Co. Armagh have appeared in court in Co Donegal, charged in connection with the seizure of cannabis worth an estimated €500,000. Kieran Smyth senior, 47, and his son Kieran Smyth junior, 24, appeared in court in Donegal yesterday. Both were remanded in custody.

Missing Galway Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Gardaí in Galway have reported that John Moyles has been found "safe and well". The 23-year-old, from the Rahoon area of Galway, was reported missing on Sunday. It is understood that he was found in the Dublin area. Garda have thanked the public for their help.

Men Arrested Over Santry Cannabis Seizure
Cannabis worth an estimated €150,000 has been seized from a home in Larchill, Santry in Dublin, on Saturday. Gardaí arrested four men in connection with the find. They are due to appear in court on Monday.
