Appeal Renewed For Missing Mother And Daughter

Gardaí have renewed their appeal for information on the whereabouts of Paige Holland and her one-week-old daughter.

It is understood that the 23-year-old mother, who is also know as Abbie Goodier or Paige Goodier, and her daughter, Nevaeh, have not been seen since they left their home in Westview, Cloonfield, Co Roscommon, on Friday, 15 January.

Paige is described as 5'6'' in height, of medium build with blonde shoulder length hair. She has a strong English accent. Her daughter Nevaeh was born on the 13th January 2016. It is not known what clothing Paige was wearing when last seen.

Paige and her daughter are believed to be accompanied by Aaron Tighe also known as Aaron Chadwick or Ian Smith 22 years, described as 5'6'' tall, medium build, with short brown/fair hair. He also has a strong English accent.

Gardaí are appealing to Paige to contact Castlerea Garda Station as soon as possible.

Investigating Gardaí are concerned for the welfare of Paige and her daughter and are liaising with TUSLA in relation to this incident.

Fresh Appeal For Information On 1993 Murder Of Brendan McKenna
Detectives from Legacy Investigation Branch have issued a fresh appeal for information on the murder of Brendan McKenna near Comber in June 1993, on what would have been Brendan's 58th birthday. Mr McKenna was shot dead by a gunman as he drove to a quarry on the Ballystockart Road, Comber on 2 June 1993.
