Dublin Cloud Computing Firm Announces 450 New Jobs

450 new jobs are to be created in Dublin by cloud computing company, Oracle.

The Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, was at the company's Dublin office to announce the new jobs, which will be based in cloud sales, as the company looks to grow its business in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

Oracle is looking for recruits with a range of experience from across the EMEA region, from highly motivated sales professionals with two to three years’ experience to highly experienced senior sales professionals.

The Taoiseach said: "This announcement of 450 new jobs in cloud computing is a vote of confidence in Dublin's reputation as a tech hub with a highly skilled talent pool and the right policies for business to thrive.  The Government is determined to keep the recovery going by maintaining our attractiveness as a location for investment.  I welcome Oracle’s cloud investment plans, choosing Ireland as a key location to drive their future business."
