Five Arrested Over Lorcan O'Reilly Murder

Five people have been arrested as part of the investigation into the murder of Lorcan O'Reilly.

Mr O'Reilly was fatally stabbed at the Oliver Bond Flats complex, Dublin 8 on Sunday 01 November 2015 between 2am and 3am.

Three males and two females (who range in age from late teens to early 20s) were arrested on Monday morning in the Dublin area. They are currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939 at a number of south city Garda stations. They can be held for up to 72 hours.

Man Arrested In Connection With Celbridge Death
A man in his 20s has been arrested after a man was found dead at a house in Co Kildare on Tuesday night. The victim, in his 30s, was found with head injuries at Willowborok Park in Celbridge at around 8.50pm. He was pronounced dead shortly before 10.30pm.

Man Arrested And Firearm Seized
A firearm has been seized and a man arrested in Crumlin, Dublin. According to gardaí, they were investigating reports of criminal damage at Rutland Grove when they witnessed a row break out between a number of men. The firearm was seized from one of the men involved in the row and he was subsequently arrested.

Two Arrested Following Supermarket Raid
Two men have been arrested following a raid at a supermarket in the Clarehall area in Dublin last night. At around 10.30pm, two men armed with a knife entered the premises on the Malahide Road and threatened two members of staff, before tying them up and attacking them. The pair then left the scene with a sum of cash.

Three Held In Dublin Cocaine Seizure
Three men have been arrested following the seizure of cocaine in Dublin. It is understood that 3.5kg of the drug, worth an estimated 250,000 euros, was discovered in Rathmines after being imported in cargo from Peru through Dublin Airport on Thursday. According to reports, the drugs had been sent by courier from Peru.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
Drugs with an estimated street value of €170,000 have been seized by gardai during a raid on a property in west Dublin. Cocaine and cannabis was found during the raid at a house in Balgaddy. A gun and ammunition were also discovered. A 37-year=old has been arrested and is being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station.
