Two Hundred New Jobs Announced For Dublin

Two hundred new jobs are to be created in Dublin following the construction of a new modern, purpose built, care home.

The new 165-room CareChoice facility on the Malahide Road will create jobs for nurses; health care assistants; management; catering staff; and activity leaders.

Welcoming the news, Minister Richard Bruton said: "I very much welcome that Carechoice will be expanding their operation and opening a purpose-built care home on the Malahide Road, creating jobs in the healthcare sector for Dublin. With an increasing number of people over 65 in Ireland, quality care is something that will affect all families and I welcome the opening of this care centre. I wish Carechoice, their team all the best with their future expansion."

A further 500 jobs are to be created during the construction of the new home.
