Man Arrested Over Cannabis Seizure
Cannabis plants worth an estimated €44,000 has been seized during a raid in Marino, Dublin on Wednesday.
Gardaí from Clontarf conducted a planned search of a house in Marino at approximately 12.30 yesterday.
During the course of the search, cannabis plants with an estimated street value of up to €44,000, pending analysis, were seized along with a small quantity of cannabis herb.
A male in his early 30s was arrested at the scene and detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Clontarf Garda Station. He was later released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Cannabis Seized In Co Kildare
Gardaí in Co Kildare have seized cannabis worth an estimated €800,000. The find was made during a planned search of a house in Crossmorris on Monday. Officers seized 40kg of cannabis herb in the search. A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the find.
