Appeal Renewed For Missing 72-Year-Old

Gardaí at Blackrock, Co Dublin, have renewed their appeal for help in tracing 72-year-old Breda Delany.

Breda was last seen at her home on Avondale Court, Blackrock, at approximately 3.30am on Saturday 11 July. She is described as being 5' 4" in height, of slight build with blonde/grey hair and blue eyes. When last seen, Breda was wearing a white cardigan, a grey calf length skirt and black shoes.  

Gardaí are concerned for Breda's welfare and are requesting property owners in the Blackrock area to check their premises and grounds.

Breda was last seen at her home at approximately 3.30am, Saturday 11 July 2015. She is described as being 5ft 4 in height, of slight build with blonde/grey hair and blue eyes.

Former Missionaries Teachers Charged With Indecent Assault Of Pupils
Three former teachers of a missionary order boarding school have been charged with the indecent assault of a number of pupils over a 20 year period. The charges come at the end of a two year investigation carried out by gardaí, following allegations of abuse at Coláiste Chroí Naofa in Carrignavar, Co Cork from the late 1960s on.

Appeal Renewed For Missing Cork Teenager
Gardaí have renewed their appeal for information on the whereabouts of 14-year-old Louise Scannell. The teenager, who is from the Blackrock area of Cork City, has been missing since Tuesday 26 May, when she was last seen on Ringmahon Road, Mahon. She is described as 4' 11" in height, slight build, with black hair and brown/green eyes.
