Twenty New Jobs Announced In Dublin

Fine Gael has welcomed the creation of 20 new jobs in the Digital Hub in Dublin 8.

Dublin South Central TD, Catherine Byrne, said:"The announcement by Megatransfert SAS of 20 new jobs at their base in the Digital Hub is really welcome for Dublin 8 and the South West Inner City. It's great to see businesses in the Digital Hub growing and expanding and with this announcement today, Megatransfert is doubling its workforce."

Megatransfert is a French FinTech company, established in 2011, specialising in the area of micropayments via prepaid cards, TCom-payment, E-money, E-Wallet and M-Wallet solutions.

Digital Hub Welcomed
Dublin Bay North Labour Party T.D. and member of the Oireachtas Committee on Communications and Transport, Seán Kenny, today welcomed the announcement that the Digital Hub will transition into Dublin City Council (DCC) as part of the Government programme to rationalise State Agencies.

Galway Firm To Create 100 New Jobs
A shed manufacturing company is to create 100 new jobs in Tuam, Co Galway. Steeltech Sheds is to relocate its business from Headford Road in Galway to the former Coca-Cola factory in Tuam and will recruit new staff between now and 2017. The company currently employs 100 staff at bases in Cork, Dublin, Carlow and Athlone.
