'Love Ulster' March Cancelled

A loyalist 'Love Ulster' march planned for Dublin next Saturday has been cancelled.

According to a report by RTÉ, the organiser of the march, Willie Frazer, has claimed that government officials have promised to provide information to the Kingsmill massacre inquest.

Ten protestant workmen were shot dead in the village of Kingsmill, Co Armagh, in 1976.

Mr Frazer claims that officials from the Departments of Justice and Foreign Affairs have promised to send information from garda files to the coroner ahead of a preliminary hearing to be held in Belfast on 27 March.

However, he added that if this commitment is not honoured then "another, bigger march" would be held in Dublin.
