RTÉ Launch Five Week 'Public Service Statement' Consultation

A five-week consultation process on how RTÉ is fulfilling its public service commitments has got underway.

The consultation will help inform the public-service broadcasters new 'public service statement', which it is required to produce every five years.

The statement outlines the principles that the broadcaster, which is part-funded by a licence fee, will follow and the activities it will undertake in order to execute its commitments.

Anyone wishing to respond to the consultation can fill out a questionnaire found at rte.ie/about.
