Phone Charger Believed To Have Caused House Fire
Dublin Fire Brigade has issued a warning over the dangers of leaving electronic devices plugged in following a fire in Dublin on Sunday.
The fire brigade said that a house in Castleknock was destroyed by a fire thought to have been started by a phone charger left on a bed.
No one was injured in the fire however three fire engines were needed to put out the blaze.
People have been advised not to leave devices on charge for long periods and to never leave electronic items that can get hot on or next to furniture.

Halloween Fire Safety Campaign Launched
Dublin Fire Brigade's Halloween Safety Campaign, 'Be Safe Been Seen' has been launched at Dublin Fire HQ by tArdmhéara Críona Ní Dhálaigh. The Fire Brigade will work with Dublin Bus, An Garda Siochana and the DSPCA in an effort to inform young people about the dangers of illegal bonfires and fireworks.

Man Stable After Being Struck By Luas
A man struck by a Luas tram in south Dublin on Tuesday night is in a stable condition in hospital. The incident happened at Cheeverstown at about 20:15 on Tuesday, Dublin Fire Service have said. It is understood that an 18-year-old man was on the tracks between the Citywest and Cheeverstown stops when he was hit.
