'Missing Link' In Dublin Bay Cycle Path To Be Completed

The Department of Transport has confirmed the allocation of €1.5m for new work to begin on the Dublin Bay cycle path.

More than a decade since the cycle route was first planned, work will begin in April on the "missing link" section of path between Wooden Bridge and Causeway Road in Clontarf.

Work is set to begin on 01 April and will be done in stage to comply with bird habitat conservation regulations. It is expected that the 2km section will take 18 months to complete.
