Five Injured In Serious Road Accident In Cork
Five people are being treated in hospital following a serious road accident in Cork.
A four-year-old boy and a woman aged in her 30s are believed to be in a serious condition following the five-vehicle collision at Glencaum on the N20 main Cork-Limerick Road at about 13:40.
Three others are in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
A forensic examination of the crash site is to be carried out as part of an investigation to establish the cause of the accident.

Girl In Serious Condition Following Road Accident
A young girl remains in a serious condition in hospital following a road accident on Monday, according to Garda. It is understood the girl was hit by a car on the Ballybay to Swans Cross Road, at Cortubber in Ballybay just before 20:00. She was airlifted to Temple Street Hospital. An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.

Men Airlifted To Hospital Following 'Serious' Workplace Accident
Two men had to be airlifted to Cork University Hospital following a serious workplace accident in Shannon. It is understood the men were working at Shannon Industrial Estate, Co Clare, when the incident happened at about 15:30 on Thursday afternoon. The men remain in hospital, where they are being treated for "serious burn injuries".

Appeal Issued Over Serious Road Accident
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses following a road traffic collision at Annesley Bridge Road, Dublin 3. A woman in her 20s was hit by a car at Annesley Bridge Road shortly before 06:45am on Monday. The woman remains in a serious condition in Beaumont Hospital. The driver of the car involved in the incident was not injured.
