100 Jobs Announced For Dundalk

100 jobs are to be created in Dundalk, County Louth, following the opening of a new Customer Engagement Centre by Irish sales solution provider SalesSense International.

Minister for Jobs Richard Bruton said: "At the heart of our Action Plan for Jobs for 2015 is accelerating jobs growth in every region of the country. All eight regions have shown jobs growth over recent years, but some regions are growing faster than others and we are putting in place a range of measures to spread the benefit of the jobs recovery. SalesSense is a highly innovative Irish company servicing domestic as well as overseas customers from their Dundalk HQ. Today’s announcement that they are creating an extra 100 jobs is another great boost for the North East and an example of what is possible across the country. I wish Ger and the team every success with their expansion."

CEO of SalesSense, Ger Teahon commented: "Against the economic backdrop of the past few years our announcement today is testament to the hard work and amazing passion from the whole team here in SalesSense. As an indigenous company focused on being the best, we are absolutely thrilled that this day has finally come as the excitement levels have been building around this engagement centre for some time. The pride and satisfaction we take in being able to build our business and create 100 jobs is fantastic and we look forward to further growth in the years ahead.

"This Engagement Centre will be unique in many ways but central to its offering will be its state of the art technology which will significantly benefit our own clients and partners. That together with our company ethos and the highly trained and skilled professionals we will provide make it a formidable proposition in the global sales and service market."
