Six-Year-Old Allegedly Pricked With Syringe On Dublin Bus

An investigation is underway after a six-year-old child was allegedly pricked by a syringe on a Dublin Bus.

According to gardaí, the incident took place on the number 66B bus last Friday evening.

Emergency services were called and the boy was taken to Tallaght Hospital. The hospital said that they carried out a number of tests but would not comment further.

It is understood that the garda investigation is trying to establish the exact circumstances of the incident and are liaising with Dublin Bus.

The College Green Bus Corridor Scheme will be operational from Monday to Friday between the hours 7am to 10am and 4pm to 7pm inclusive.

Investigation Launches Into Dublin Bus Fire
An investigation has been launched into a fire on a Dublin Bus. The Fire Brigade was called to the out of service bus after it caught fire at about 13:00 in the Harold's Cross area. There were no passengers on board the bus at the time and the driver escaped uninjured. It is not yet known what caused the fire.

Another Dublin Bus Crash Leaves Two Hurt
Two people have been injured after another collision involving a bus in central Dublin. It happened last night and is the fourth accident to hit Dublin Bus in two days. Three separate crashes took place yesterday, leaving eleven people hospitalised.
