Application Submitted For Largest Docklands Developement To Date

An application for a proposed €450m development on Dublin's Docklands has been submitted to Dublin City Council.

The Reveal Developments proposal includes office space for over 2,000 workers and more than 150 residential apartments. If approved, it would be the largest scheme to be developed since the Docklands area was earmarked.

An umbrella group call TIO plc has submitted the application on behalf of US investors Oaktree, Irish property company Bennett Group and the National Asset Management Agency.

River Liffey To Get A Floating Marina And Pool
Dublin Docklands Development Authority (DDDA) has today announced plans to build a swimming pool and a marina in the middle of the River Liffey. The project forms part of the River Regeneration Strategy for Dublin Docklands. As yet the exact location for the plans has not been chosen.

Dublin Arrest On Soldier Murder Warrant
An arrest has been made in the case of a murdered British army sergeant 17 years ago in England. An Armagh-born man, Declan Duffy, 34, who has been living in Dublin, is wanted in the UK on a charge of murdering the recruitment officer. Mr Duffy has today appeared before the Dublin High Court on foot of an extradition warrant.

Heavy Security In Limerick Court As Murder Charge Laid
Heavy security was evident yesterday as a young man was charged with the murder of Limerick businessman and father Roy Collins. James Dillon (23) of no fixed abode was brought to Limerick District Court after he was charged with the murder of the 35-year-old father of two last week.
