Over 90 Jobs Announced For Co Cork Maritime Sector

American wave technology firm, Resolute Marine Energy, has announced it is to establish a new European headquarters in Cork, creating 80 new jobs.

It comes alongside two other announcements of new jobs in the maritime sector, with Resolve Marine to add six more staff over the coming year and Exceedence, part of University College Cork's Beaufort Research Centre, will create five new jobs.

All announcements were made during a one-day conference held at the National Maritime College in Ringaskiddy.

400 New Jobs For Limerick With US Firm Expansion
Some 400 new jobs will be created in Limerick when a leading US financial services company more than doubles its workforce as part of a major expansion of its Irish operation. Northern Trust, a fund administrator, will take on the 400 new staff at its Limerick base over the next five years.
