Govt Due To Make Statement On Irish Water 'Next Week'

The government is to make a statement next week on Irish Water, according to the Taoiseach Enda Kenny has said.

Mr Kenny made the statement has he entered a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday morning, adding that the government has listened to people and "acknowledged things were not done as they should be".

His comments follow nation-wide protests held on the weekend against the water charges.
