Children Injured In Petrol Bomb Attack
Two children are being treated in hospital following a petrol bomb attack on a house in Waterford city.
Gardaí say that an 11-year-old girl and her 1-year-old sister suffered burns and cuts in the attack on their home in Ardmore Park in Ballybeg. The house was attacked at about 21:00 on Thursday.
It is understood that the children were sitting on a sofa when the petrol bomb was thrown through the front window.
Their injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening.
Gardaí in Waterford say they have arrested a man in his 20s in connection with the attack.

Man Charged With Petrol Bomb Attack On Killarney Garda Station
A man has been charged with arson in connection with a petrol bomb attack on Killarney Garda Station, the Irish Times have reported. At a special sitting of the Killorglin District Court, the unidentified man was granted bail on strict conditions, and will appear again on Thursday at Tralee District Court.

Petrol Bomb Attack On House In Derry
Police in Derry are investigating a petrol bomb attack on a house in the Moyne Avenue area of the city. The front of the house was damaged and a window was broken in the incident which happened at around 3am this morning. A couple were in the house at the time but no one was injured in the attack.

Petrol Bombs Thrown At House In Waterford City
Gardaí have issued an appeal for information following a petrol bomb attack on a house in Waterford city on Tuesday night. At about 3am last night three petrol bombs were thrown at a house on Dominic's Place. There was fire damage to the house but there have been no reports of any injuries.
