Gardaí Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Tipperary Road Crash

Gardaí in Co Tipperary have reported the deaths of a man and a woman in a road accident on the main Limerick to Waterford Road.

Gardaí say that a man in his 80s and a woman in her 40s were in separate cars, travelling in opposite directions, when they collided at about 07:17 on Thursday morning.

Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene, and their bodies taken to South Tipperary Hospital.

The road has been closed for a technical examination and local diversions are in place.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to contact Tipperary Garda Station on 062-80670, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Appeal Issued For Missing Tipperary Man
Gardaí have appealed for help in tracing missing Tipperary man John Esmonde. The 38-year-old has been missing since around 22:00 on Wednesday 11 March. When last seen he was wearing a dark jacket, blue denim trousers and a black woollen hat. He is believed to have been carrying a brown shopping bag.

18-Year-Old Killed In Co Tipperary Road Crash
Gardaí have reported that an 18-year-old man has died following a road accident in Co Tipperary. The crash happened at about 21:00 on Sunday night at Junction 22 near Roscrea, on the M7. The 18-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. A post mortem is to be carried out at University Hospital Limerick.

One Stabbed, One Shot And Five Arrested In Tipperary
Five men have been arrested following an attack on two men in Tipperary. During the attack one man received stab wounds to his back and a second man received a gun shot wound to his leg. One of the men was taken to the Regional Hospital Limerick and the second man to South Tipperary Hospital.

Arrests Follow Limerick Death
Gardaí are questioning five people following the fatal shooting of a man in Co Limerick on Tuesday night, The 25-year-old was shot dead on the main Tipperary Road outside Limerick city around 9.30pm. It is understood that the man was shot several times. He was taken to Mid-Western Hospital, but was later pronounced dead.

Man Charged With The Murder Of Bobby Ryan
A 49-year-old man is due to appear before Tipperary District Court charged in connection with the murder of Bobby Ryan. Father-of-two Bobby Ryan of Boherlahan, Cashel, Co Tipperary was reported missing to Tipperary Town Gardaí on 3 June 2011. His remains were found concealed in an underground concrete tank on a farm at Fawnagowan, on 30 April 2013.
