Man Arrested Over Carjacking At Dublin Airport

Gardaí have arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with a violent carjacking at Dublin Airport on Tuesday.

A 65-year-old man suffered head injuries when he was dragged from his car at Dublin Airport at about 15:40 on Tuesday.

Petricia Lucaci, who is from Romania and has been in Ireland for approximately three months, has been arrested and charged with assault causing harm and dangerous driving.

He was arrested when the stolen car was stopped by gardaí on the Naul Road, Ballymun, a short time after it was stolen.

Gardaí say that Mr Lucaci appeared before Dublin District Court on Wednesday morning, where he was remanded in custody to appear at Cloverhill District Court on 15 October.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
Drugs with an estimated street value of €170,000 have been seized by gardai during a raid on a property in west Dublin. Cocaine and cannabis was found during the raid at a house in Balgaddy. A gun and ammunition were also discovered. A 37-year=old has been arrested and is being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station.

Man Arrested Over €400,000 Cannabis Find
Cannabis with an estimated value of €400,000 has been seized in Co Donegal. Members of the Revenue and Gardaí uncovered the drugs during a search at Castlefin on Tuesday. Garda arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the find.

Garda Granted More Time To Question Limerick MC Murder Suspects
Gardaí investigating the murder of a man outside a motorcycle club in Limerick, have been granted more time to question three men. A special sitting of Limerick District Court granted garda more time to question a 27-year-old man and two me aged in their 40s, arrested on Saturday in connection with the murder.
