Gardaí Renew Appeal Over Remains Found At Dublin Recycling Plant

Gardaí have renewed an appeal for help in identifying the remains of a man found at a recycling plant in Dublin in July.

The human remains were found on 31 July at Thornton's Recycling Plant on Killeen Road, Ballyfermot.

Gardaí say that they believe it to be a European male, aged between 25 and 45 and approximately 5'8" to 6' tall. Gardaí believe he had previously undergone brain surgery.

Officers investigating the case are appealing for help in identifying the victim and the location of where he might have been put into the skip.

A 25-year-old man who was missing from Harcourt Street in Dublin has been found safe and well, Gardaí have reported. Simon Quinn was reported missing after last being seen at around 2.30am on Monday, 30 July. However, Mr Quinn has now been found and Gardaí said they wish to thank the media and public for their assistance.

Body Found In Limerick
Gardaí in Co. Limerick have launched an investigation after the body of a man was found at a recycling plant. The plant in Luddenmore, Grange was cordoned off following the discovery, shortly after midday, and the State Pathologist has been contacted. According to reports, the body was found in a skip.

Funeral To Be Held For Baby Girl Found In Recycling Plant
A funeral is to be held on Friday, 13 May, for a baby girl whose body was found at a recycling plant last week. The baby girl's remains were discovered by a worker at the Greenstar facility in Fassaroe, Bray, Co Wicklow. Baby Alannah, as she was named by gardaí, will be buried at Redford Cemetery, in Greystones, according to a report by RTÉ.

Human Remains Found At Recycling Plant Confirmed As Male
Human remains found at a recycling plant in Dublin belonged to a man, Gardaí have confirmed. Staff at the Thornton's recycling centre on Killeen Road, Ballyfermot, found the lower part of a human leg on Friday and called gardaí. The upper part of a leg was then found on Saturday.
