Teenager Drowns In Reservoir

A 13-year-old boy has drowned in a reservoir in Drogheda, Co Louth.

The boy is understood to have been swimming with two friends when he got into difficulty in the water at Rosehall.

Two girls were able to raise the alarm and the Dundalk Coastguard Unit was dispatched.

Divers from the Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery team also helped search for the boy.

His body was found shortly around 30 minutes later.

Teenager Drowns In Dublin Reservoir
Gardaí have reported the death of a 16-year-old boy, who drowned in a reservoir at Bohernabreena in Dublin. It is understood that the teenager got in to trouble while in the water on Tuesday afternoon. His body was recovered from the reservoir shortly after 16:00.

Fisherman's Body Identified
