Protester Hit By Car Leaving Greyhound Factory
An investigation has been launched into an incident in which a protester was hit by a car as it left the Greyhound Household Waste company on Wednesday evening.
SIPTU members have been holding a picket outside the site since 17 June, in a dispute over pay cuts.
According to garda a car leaving the Crag Avenue factory in Clondalkin hit a 37-year-old man at about 18:30.
He was taken by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital, his injuries are said to not be life threatening.
Garda confirmed that they are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

Three Men Hit By Car Fleeing From Garda
Three men are being treated in hospital after being hit by a car which was being pursued by gardaí. Gardaí have said a Hyundai Accent struck three men, aged in their 70s, and crashed into two parked cars outside the pitch and putt course in Parteen, Co Clare, at about 17:00 on Thursday.

Thousands Left Without Power
Around 3,000 homes and businesses are without power following a night of extreme weather. Strong winds battered many parts of the country, with the southwest, west and northwest hit worst. Engineers are working to reconnect power but are understood to be hampered by the ongoing weather conditions.

A man has presented himself to gardaí in connection with a fatal hit-and-run incident on 30 September, following an appeal. In the incident an 87-year-old man was knocked from his wheelchair after being hit by a white lorry, which then failed to stop. The man died a short time later of his injuries.

Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car In Dublin
An elderly woman who was hit by a car in Dublin has died in hospital. The incident occurred on the Navan Road at around 8.15am on Sunday, 04 September. The driver of the car was arrested and taken to Finglas Garda Station. He has been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
