Irish Flights Return To Normal As French Airstrike Ends

A strike by French air traffic control workers, which had caused cancellations and delays for Irish airlines, has been called off.

Following the announcement that the strike action has been stopped, Ryanair said that its scheduled flights to France, or operating through French airspace, would now operate as normal, but added that some delays may still be in place as they work to clear backlogs.

Aer Lingus have also said that all scheduled flights would operate but some delays may still occur.

The strike had been due to continue until after the weekend, in a dispute over planned cuts.
