Work To Begin In May On Digital Hub Accommodation Unit

The next stage in the development of Dublin's Digital Hub has been announced as a €40m accommodation unit which will house some 500 students.

Planning permission is already in place and construction is due to begin in May. Around 300 jobs will be created.

The investment is one of the largest since the Digital Hub was founded in 2001.

It is understood that the student accommodation, being developed by London-based Knightsbridge Student Housing, will be located on Bonham Street. Once completed the accommodation will be offered on a contract basis to different universities.
