ATM Recovered After Digger Used To Pull It Out Of A Wall

Gardaí in Co Sligo have recovered an ATM machine that was ripped from the wall of Bank of Ireland on Wednesday morning.

A digger was used to break a hole in the wall, before pulling the machine free, at around 05:00am in Tubbercurry. The machine was then loaded onto a trailer and driven away.

Gardaí recovered the ATM at Collaney, approximately 8kms from the town.

It is understood that the ATM was found still on the trailer. The digger used to pull it from the wall was left behind in Tubbercurry.

Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information to contact Ballymote Garda station on (071) 918 9500.

A gang of thieves have stolen an ATM machine they ripped out of a wall in County Kildare. The thieves made off with an unknown sum of cash after taking the cash machine from the Mother Hubbard's restaurant in Moyvalley, Co Kildare at about 2am.

Another ATM Ripped From Wall By Robbers
Gardaí are searching for a gang following the 'excavation' and theft of an ATM in Co Wexford early this morning. The filling station facility was attacked with a mechanical digger which was used to remove the cash machine. It happened at the Mace filling station at Bellfield in Enniscorthy at around 5am.

Motorcyclist Killed In Dublin Collision
A motorcyclist has been killed following a collision in Dublin on Friday morning. The man died after his bike collided with a truck in the North Wall Quay area at approximately 7.30am. Gardaí have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Man Killed In Dublin Road Crash
Garda have appealed for witnesses to a road crash in Dublin that killed a man in his 20s. The crash happened at around 2.40am on Monday morning on the North Wall Quay. Two other men are understood to have been injured in the incident.

Traffic Problems Ease Following Truck Incident
Traffic is reportedly returning to normal in Dublin after an overturned truck caused traffic chaos earlier. The truck overturned around 5:50am on Monday morning on the East Wall Road near the Point Depot. The truck and trailer have now been removed and a fuel spill was also treated.
