Teenager Leon Connon Dies At Cork University Hospital

A teenager who's oxygen supply was cut off when his head became trapped in a fence in Kinsale, Co Cork has died.

14-year-old Leon Connon had fainted and slumped against a metal fence last Saturday night, not far from his home. His head and neck accidentally got wedged in the fence cutting off his oxygen supply.

Leon passed away on Tuesday at Cork University Hospital.

Funeral arrangements are expected to be announced later today.
