Teenager Leon Connon Dies At Cork University Hospital
A teenager who's oxygen supply was cut off when his head became trapped in a fence in Kinsale, Co Cork has died.
14-year-old Leon Connon had fainted and slumped against a metal fence last Saturday night, not far from his home. His head and neck accidentally got wedged in the fence cutting off his oxygen supply.
Leon passed away on Tuesday at Cork University Hospital.
Funeral arrangements are expected to be announced later today.

A 14-year-old boy is in critical condition in Cork University Hospital after trapping his head in railings and cutting off his oxygen supply. Gardaí have described how the teenager had been with friends at The Orchards estate at Compass Hill, Kinsale, Co Cork, when he fell ill and slumped on to the railing.

A man has been arrested after fleeing from the scene of a fatal accident on County Cork in the early hours of this morning. Two men in their 20s were killed in a head on collision of two vehicles at approximately 2.45am this morning on the N25 at Caherulton, Castlemartyr, County Cork.
