Extradition Of Child Abuse Facilitator Wanted In US Adjourned Another Week

The man described by the FBI as "the largest facilitator of child porn in the world" has been further remanded in custody as his extradition trial is put back by another week.

28-year-old Eric Eoin Marques is wanted by US authorities over charges of conspiring to distribute and advertise child pornography, and advertising and distributing child pornography.

It is claimed that Marques, with an address at Mountjoy Square, Dublin, is the owner and administrator of Freedom Hosting, an anonymous web hosting company.

He has been in custody since his arrest in August after it was successfully argued that he was a flight risk.

At a court appearance this morning lawyers for Marques had requested a two week adjournment, with the judge granting them one.
