New Ferry Route To France And Spain Announced
A new ferry service between Ireland and western France and Ireland and northern Spain has been announced.
The LD Ferries Services will run between Rosslare in Co Wexford and St Nazaire on the west coast of France and Gijón in northern Spain.
Confirming the news of the new route, Minister for Transport Leo Varadker said: "This is a very welcome announcement and provides a valuable new landbridge from France and Spain into Ireland.
"It's the first service of its kind to Ireland, and it's great news for our tourism industry."

New IBM Centre Will Create 300 New Jobs In Ireland
Computer and technology giant IBM have announced plans to open a new international services centre, with the creation of several hundred new jobs to coincide. The multinational, which already employs about 3,000 people in Ireland, is to open the centre in Mulhuddart, Dublin.

Ahern and Adams Attend Basque Peace Talks
A group of politicians who were involved in Ireland's 'Peace Process' have travelled to Spain to help broker an agreement between the Spanish government and Spanish separatists. Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern, Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, are among those involved.
