M&S Strike Action Deferred For Emergency Meeting

A one-day strike by staff at Marks & Spencer has been deferred following an intervention by the Labour Court.

The strike was due to be held on Friday.

It is understood that the strike action has been deferred to allow an emergency hearing to take place at the Labour Court tomorrow.

The dispute follows the closure of the workers' defined-benefit pension scheme on 31 October.
