Man's Body Found In Phoenix Park
Gardaí have reported the discovery of a man's body in Phoenix Park, Dublin.
The body was found in a sleeping bag near the Wellington Monument at around 1.30am. It is believed that the man had suffered burn injuries.
A post-mortem examination will be carried out to establish the cause of death and gardaí are investigating if the suspected fire was accidental or deliberate.
Gardaí have issued an appeal to anyone who was in the area of Wellington Road overnight to contact them.
They are asked to contact Cabra Garda Station on 01-6667400, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line on 1800666111 or any garda station.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a fatal accident in Hospital, Co Limerick, in which a 44-year-old man was killed. The man was walking on Main Street in the town at about 2am on Tuesday morning when he was hit by a car. He was pronounced dead at the scene. It is understood no one else was injured in the incident.
