Northgate To Create 150 New Jobs
A total of 150 new jobs are to created in Co Mayo by health services company Northgate.
The new jobs will more than double the company's workforce in Ireland.
The private company specialises in public service contract work and operates around the world.
The company runs a newborn hearing screening programme for the Health Service Executive in public maternity hospitals, as well as computer file management systems for several other hospitals.
The new jobs will be in the information technology sector.
There will also be a number of support roles for existing services already provided by its Irish operation.
A final location has yet to be chosen, but it understood Northgate will set up in existing premises which are in the Castlebar area.

Some 150 new jobs are to be created in Dublin by four companies. Seventy five jobs are to be created with two Indian companies establishing offices in Dublin/ Another 40 jobs are to be created by Aditi Technologies, as the set up a European Services and Business Development Centre in the capitol.
