Over 200 New Jobs As Four Firms Announce Expansion

Over 230 new jobs are to be created with the announcement of expansion plans at four companies in Ireland.

Microsoft are to increase their Irish workforce of 1,900 by a further 95 at its operations in Dublin – including 30 in software development roles, 35 positions for new graduates and 30 or roles in sales and the company's overseas operations centre.

Brandtone, a Dublin-based mobile marketing company, is to create some 29 new jobs as part of €2 million investment in its research and development programme.

Another technology firm, FCS Global, will create 10 jobs as it expands its training, engineering and US operations, creating.

And a further 100 jobs are to be created by two new entertainment venues in Dublin.

The Wright Bar Group is investing over €800,000 in developing new businesses in Swords and the Airside Retail Park.

The group, which has a chain of nine bars and restaurants and one nightclub in Dublin, already employs over 350 people.
