President Higgins To Address Mexican Business Summit

President Michael D Higgins is attending a business summit in Guadalajara, Mexico.

President Higgins and Minister of State Joe Costello are at the Mexican Business Summit to highlight the opportunity Ireland's economic recovery can offer to Latin America as a way in to Europe.

It is hoped that the visit could help boost trade between Ireland and Mexico, with Enterprise Ireland is already targeting ICT financial services education and the pharmaceutical sector is offering particular opportunities.
