Body Found And Man Arrested In Co Cavan

Gardaí in Co Cavan have arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with the discovery of a body in Cootehill in the early hours of this morning.

According to gardaí, the body of a man, believed to be aged in his early 30s, was discovered at a house in Lodge View at around 1.05am.

The State Pathologist has been called and the scene of the discovery remains closed off pending a technical examination.

Man's Body Discovered In Enniscorthy
Gardaí at Enniscorthy are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery a man's body. The 38-year-old man was found in an apartment at a complex at Carrigtur, Springvalley, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. Gardaí were notified shortly after 8.30am this morning.

Man's Body Found In Phoenix Park
Gardaí have reported the discovery of a man's body in Phoenix Park, Dublin. The body was found in a sleeping bag near the Wellington Monument at around 1.30am. It is believed that the man had suffered burn injuries.

Gardaí Call For Help In Identifying Beach Body
Gardaí in Galway have asked Interpol for help in identifying a body of a man washed ashore on a south Connemara beach late last week. The body was found at Tra Dhireain Huston in Lettermullen last Thursday afternoon. It was taken to University Hospital Galway for the postmortem.
