Man Charged With Wexford Man's Murder In Australia

An Irishman living in Australia has been charged with the murder of an Irish construction worker in Perth.

Vincent Martin Crowe appeared in court over the death of Wexford man Kenny Meyler, who died after being stabbed in the neck in February.

The incident happened in the Perth suburb of Scarborough.

It is understood that Mr Meyler was working in construction while in Australia and had been due to travel on to Sweden before the attack.

According to reports Crowe appeared in court today where he was remanded in custody to appear again for trial in November.

A 32-year-old Irishman in Perth, western Australia, has been charged with the murder of Kenny Myler from Wexford. Mr Meyler (21) suffered a stab wound to the neck in the Perth suburb of Scarborough on the afternoon of February 10th. Police attended the scene after receiving a call about a fight involving several men.

Man Jailed For Nine Years For Killing Irishman In Australia
A man has been sentenced to nine years in prison for murdering Irishman Thomas Keaney in Australia. Thomas, 23, died after a one punch attack in 2013. He suffered a serious brain injury after falling and hitting his head on the pavement. Abbas Yahya Al Jrood was jailed in Australia. Mr Keaney died ten days after the fatal lunch in Perth.

Australia Seeks Extradition Of Meath Man
Australian authorities are seeking the extradition of man from County Meath in connection with two counts of dangerous driving causing death. Eamonn Driver from Stanley Heights, Slane in Co Meath, is being sought after the deaths of 20-year-old Colm Reilly from Slane and Kiara Duncan, who was also 20, from Kentstown in Co Meath.

Fatal Accident Claims Donegal Man In Australia
A Donegal man has been fatally wounded in a construction accident in Western Australia. On Saturday, Sean McBride, 28, from Burtonport was working on scaffolding, based on a jetty in the town of Dampier when it collapsed into the sea. The jetty was owned by the mining giant Rio Tinto Iron Ore. Emergency services were called to the scene.
