Gardaí Arrest Three Over Dáil Protests

Gardaí in Dublin have arrested three people for public order offences in connection with protests held in Dublin city centre.

As the Dáil returned from its summer break, some 500 protesters gathered outside Leinster House, leading to clashes with gardaí, while three people had to receive treatment in hospital.

It is understood that officers used pepper spray against two protesters.

Gardaí Prepare For Budget Protestors
