Body Discovered On Mornington Beach

Gardai from Laytown are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a male in his 40s found on Mornington Beach, Co Meath.

The Office of the State pathologist has been notified. The body is still at the scene. The area has been sealed off for a Technical examination.

The body was discovered at approx 9.30am on Tuesday 10 September.

Three Arrested After Body Is Discovered On Beach
Two women and one man has been arrested by Gardai investigating the murder of 44-year-old Audrius Butkus whose body was discovered on a beach at Mornington, Co Meath. A woman aged in her 30s was arrested on Thursday evening in the Drogheda area.

Body Found In Co Donegal
Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.
