Body Found Of Missing Monagahan Farmer
The body of Gerard Tierney, who had been missing for over a week, has been found in a slurry storage facility on his farm.
Mr Tierney had been missing from his home since Thursday of last week before his remains were uncovered yesterday.
Gardaí have said that they believe Mr Tierney, of Smithboro, Co Monagahan, died in a "tragic accident".

Body Confirmed As Missing Co Kilkenny Man
Gardaí have found the body of a man that was reported missing two weeks ago. The body of Billy Dooley, of Castlecomer, Co Kilkenny, was found in a public toilet in the town. It is understood that gardaí had been searching for Mr Dooley for a fortnight. They say that his death is not being treated as suspicious.

Gardaí Appeal For Help to Trace Two Missing Women
Gardaí have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of two missing women from Kilkenny and Dublin. Garda said 42-year-old Aoife Petrani failed to return to her home at St. Patricks Gate, Outrath Rd, Kilkenny from her work in Dublin on 24 January. She was last seen at The Aishling Hotel, Parkgate St, Dublin 8 on the 28 January.

Two Missing People Found 'Safe And Well'
Two missing people, a 15-year-old boy and a 40-year-old man, have both been found "safe and well". Cian Cleary, 15, who had been missing from Bray since Wednesday, 13 July, has been found. No further information has been released, however gardaí thanked the public for their help.

Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald has hosted the third annual Missing Persons Day in Dublin. The event at Farmleigh is an opportunity to raise public awareness of the numbers of people who go missing in Ireland each year. According to Garda statistics, 9,179 people were reported missing in 2014, with 17 still unaccounted for.
