HSE Refers Industrial Action To The LRC

The decision by Irish Medical Organisation (IMO) doctors to strike, has been referred to the Labour Relations Commission (LRC).

The Health Service Executive (HSE) made the referral ahead of a planned meeting to today to discuss contingency plans with the IMO for medical care during the upcoming strike action on September 25.

It is understood that the IMO have expressed their dismay at the referral and what they claim is a failure by the HSE to offer a settlement proposal.
