Garda Work With PSNI Over Slane Sex Act Images

A cross-border investigation has been launched into the images of a 17-year-old girl performing a sex act on a man during the weekends concert at Slane Castle.

Gardaí have confirmed that they are now working the PSNI after it was established that the man in the images, which spread online at the beginning of the week, is from west Belfast.

Photographs of the incident went viral after appearing on social media websites and despite attempts to remove them, they can still be found.

Garda are working to identify other people in the images and establish who initially posted them online.

They appealed to anybody who witnessed the incident or has knowledge of the images being posted online to contact them on the confidential telephone line, 1800 666111.
