Care Home To Create 110 Jobs

A new Dublin nursing and retirement home is to create one hundred and ten new jobs.

The 92-bed Ferndene Nursing and Retirement Home in Blackrock is due to open in the next few weeks and jobs will be available to all departments of the facility, including: nursing, caring, catering, administration, managerial and support services.

Funding Secured For Co Mayo Nursing Homes
The government have announced funding of €15 million for nursing homes in Co Mayo, which Taoiseach Enda Kenny said will make a "significant difference for elderly people in our communities". Announcing the funding, the Taoiseach said: "Six Nursing Homes in Mayo are to receive a total of €15,070,000 in funding for upgrades and refurbishment.
