Colm Murray Funeral Held In Dublin

The funeral of broadcaster and presenter Colm Murray has taken place at St Gabriel's Church in Dollymount, Dublin.

Mr Murray died this week aged 61. In 2012, he had been diagnosed with motor neurone disease.

President Michael D Higgins attended the funeral alongside aide-de-camp of Taoiseach Enda Kenny, former Taoiseach Liam Cosgrave and a number of the ministers.

A number of colleagues and former colleagues at RTÉ were also in attendance.

Mr Murray will be laid to rest at St Fintan's Cemetery in Sutton.

Former Taoiseach Albert Reynolds Dies Aged 81
Former Taoiseach Albert Reynolds has died aged 81. Reynolds, born in Rooskey, Co Roscommon, served as a minister in a number of governmental departments and was elected Taoiseach on two occasions. He has been honoured as playing an integral role in the Northern Ireland peace process. His death was announced by his eldest son, Philip Reynolds.

Lenihan Laid To Rest
The funeral of Brian Lenihan, the former Irish Minister for Finance, is taking place in Dublin today. Mr Lenihan, 52, passed away on Friday after his health deteriorated due to pancreatic cancer. He was diagnosed in 2009, and left hospital to be cared for by his family.
