14 Rescued From Dublin House Fire
Dublin Fire and Rescue service has rescued fourteen people from a house fire in Cabra, Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
Three ambulances attended the scene alongside six fire engines, which were called to the blaze at around 03:20.
According to emergency service some eight needed treatment at the scene for shock and smoke inhalation, but no-one needed hospital treatment.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is due to begin.

Dublin Fire Brigade Responds To 1,100 Calls On Halloween Night
Dublin Fire Brigade has revealed it responded to 1,100 emergency calls during Halloween night. On what is normally the service's busiest night of the year, there were also reports of attacks on fire crews while Dublin Bus was forced to withdraw its service in part of the city.

Man Stable After Being Struck By Luas
A man struck by a Luas tram in south Dublin on Tuesday night is in a stable condition in hospital. The incident happened at Cheeverstown at about 20:15 on Tuesday, Dublin Fire Service have said. It is understood that an 18-year-old man was on the tracks between the Citywest and Cheeverstown stops when he was hit.

Halloween Fire Safety Campaign Launched
Dublin Fire Brigade's Halloween Safety Campaign, 'Be Safe Been Seen' has been launched at Dublin Fire HQ by tArdmhéara Críona Ní Dhálaigh. The Fire Brigade will work with Dublin Bus, An Garda Siochana and the DSPCA in an effort to inform young people about the dangers of illegal bonfires and fireworks.
