Gardaí Launch Investigation After A Body Is Found In Co Kildare
An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a man's body by the side of a road in Co Kildare.
The body was found lying in a gateway at Lipstown Lower, Narraghmore, Athy, at around 15:30 yesterday.
Gardaí have said the body is that of a 40-year-old man and are treating it a "tragic death" and do not believe there to be any suspicious circumstances.
The man's body was moved to Naas General Hospital.

Gardaí have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man's body in an apartment in Galway City. It is understood that the man's body was found by his flatmate on Monday. According to reports, the dead man is believed to be a 23-year-old from Tullamore in Co Offaly who was studying in Galway City.

Gardai have launched an investigation following the discovery of a woman's body in a house in Dublin. The body of the 43-year-old was found in a house in Rathgar Road in Rathmines just before midnight on Wednesday. A forensic examination is being carried out and the body remains at the scene.

The body of a woman has been found in a house in Carlow. Gardaí say that the body of a 37-year-old woman was discovered at a house in the Craigcullen area of Carlow at about 21:45 on Sunday. The body remains at the scene to allow for a forensic examination. The identity of the woman has not yet been released.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.
